Marine Drive now Marine Corps Drive

Effective today, Marine Drive will now be know as Marine Corps Drive.
This after the Governor this afternoon signed an executive order changing
the name. Public Works crews will now be tasked with replacing signs as
necessary with a suitable ceremony rededicating Marine Corps Drive set
to take place this Liberation Day. Senators took some flack yesterday
on the measure for not placing it on the agenda for session tomorrow.
It even sparked a protest by a former Marine who walked from Andersen
Air Force Base down to Naval Station to show his support for that measure.
