Governor considering several pending bills

The clock is continuing to tick for Governor Felix Camacho to take action on a number of bills that were passed by lawmakers during their recent session. A total of eight bills garnered enough support from lawmakers, including Bill 1, The Every Child Deserves An Adequate Public Education Act authored by Senator Bob Klitzkie (R).

According to Governor Felix Camacho's spokesperson Erica Perez, the Governor has until Monday to take action on Bill 1, she added however the Governor will be signing Bill 38 and Bill 118 into law tomorrow. Bill 38 is known as the Crime Against Community Act, while Bill 118 enables employees who are eligible to retire from the Department of Education and the Guam Memorial Hospital to finally retire.
