Marine Corps well represented
at hearing
by Ken Wetmore, KUAM News

The Marine Corps was well represented today at a public hearing to clarify
the name of Guam’s main automotive road artery. Senator and former
Marine Bob Klitzkie’s bill to change Marine Drive to Marine Crops
Drive received overwhelmingly positive testimony from Marines, former
Marines as well as other members of the public. Senator Klitzkie says
he hopes his bill will clarify that Marine Drive is dedicated to the memory
of the Marines who died retaking Guam from the Japanese during World War
II.
